Bird flu concerns in Indonesia

There are new concerns after pockets of bird flu have been found in Indonesia.
While bird flu has taken a back seat in the news lately, it appears that there is new cause for concern.
I actually got a Tamiflu prescription from my doctor in September last year and found it buried in the bottom of my back a few days ago.
I was almost tempted to throw it out. And despite a friend of mine who is a pharmacist informing me that Tamiflu is probably ineffective I am going to hold on to it now just a little bit longer.
How long are we going to wait though until we declare the threat over. I almost feel as if there is going to be an outbreak I want it over and done with.
Bird flu warnings are getting tiring!

Mundine and Green rematch in Perth

According to a report on FOX Sports Danny Green and Anthony Mundine are set for a multi-million-dollar rematch in Perth later this year.
The report says:
"Green's manager, Justin Manolikos, said last night that a second fight between them was a natural, given the massive interest in the record-breaking battle at Aussie Stadium.
"But we would insist on it being in Perth since we allowed Anthony to promote this fight in Sydney," Manolikos said."
Maybe soneone could let me know how long the whole "rematch" thing goes on until someone is officially declared the greater boxer.

Perth wins the brawl title

Well you can't say we don't love a good fight.
Apparently we mustered 13 hotel brawls involving up to 60 people.
Is that all? The English obviously love their soccer a lot more than we do our boxing.

A good time to buy shares?

I'm wondering if it is a good time to buy shares. Companies like Consolidated Minerals, which probably have a few strong years ahead of them, were swept up in the market pull-out yesterdaday. Do they represnt good value now or are they going to drop further?

Robbie Williams to come to Perth

At last we don't miss out on a "national" tour! Tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster, June 7 so be prepared... may need a few contingency plans to get them. Details can be found here. What are your suggestions for securing sort after tickets?

Brains drain to WA

It seems Sydney-siders aren't the darlings of the nations anymore with many Sydney professionals leaving the harbour town for the dimmer lights of Perth in pursuit of bigger and better jobs.
